I was just a child and I thought you were so wise and knew everything!
I remember when....
You used to sit with me in church and I would listen to you sing!
I remember when....
I thought grandma's purse held so many magical things!
I remember when....
I used to listen to grandpa at church preach.
I remember when....
I used to watch grandma prepare meals and show
me how to cook as she would patiently teach.
I remember when....
I used to think my grandparents were rich, since everytime I
needed anything they were there for me!
Grandma, I remember when....
My other grandmother passed away and you held me in your
arms that day!
I remember when....
I was in the school spelling bee & Grandma was in the audience for me!
I remember when....
Sometimes I'd get to go to Brown Derby with you and your
friends to help celebrate your birthdays!
I remember when....
I would spend the night and get to sleep in your big lazy boy chair!
I remember when....
Grandpa used to do our taxes and I would sit and chat with you
and some great conversations we'd share!
I remember when....
I lost my favorite blanky while I was in the hospital as a child -
you gave me one of your silk robes to use instead!
I remember when....
We used to play dress up with your jewelry and mink furs in the
wonderland - called the attic!
I remember when....
I was sick and could not go to school, I came to your house
and you watched me those days, you would lay your hand
on my head and pray for me!
I remember when....
I would listen to my dad who would tell of his growing up
years and the struggles you all had to endure.
Raising six children and having to provide with little or
no money.
I remember when....
Grandpa you told us many times, You have never touched a drop of
alcohol or any drugs!
I remember when....
Every Christmas grandma would make green wreath cookies! Yum!!
I remember when....
Grandpa's health was no so good!
But through the mighty power of the Lord - he's recovered everytime!
I remember when....
Grandma would call us all if there was any family info
to be shared - she is the news hotline!
I remember when....
I first realized that my grandparents were such a gift from God!
They have been with me through thick and thin, they have
loved me, played with me, stayed with me, and prayed with me!
I love to "Remember When"
Because they have given me such great memories!
I dedicate this page to them!
I love them both with all my heart!
